Examining outlook of students of yazd university toward the nuclear policy of the Ahmadinejad's government (1392)

Abstract:
The aim of this paper is the investigation of factors affecting “attitude toward nulcear energy in Ahmadinejad’ government” among 338 students of Yazd university. To attain this goal, first an examiner attitude questionnaire with acceptable reliability and validity is prepared. On the other hand, after determination of normal distribution of the sample, by using the two independent sample t0-test, relationships between attitude toward nuclear energy as dependent variable and sex as independent variable, by using analysis of variance, relationships between attitude and economical condition, field of study and place of residence, and by using Pearson correlation test, relationships between attitude and level of trust to government, advertisement in the media and opinian of initial groups (family and friends) are evaluated. Our findings illustrates the possitive attitude of students and there are meaningful relationships between attitude and all the variables except sex and field of study. Therefore, the seven hypotheses, two hypotheses are confirmed.
