Modeling the Effect of Transformational Leadership and Organizational Justice on Organizational Citizenship Behaviors in Employees of Ministry of Sport and Youth of Iran

This study aimed at analyzing the relationship of tranformational leadership and organizational justice with organizational citizenship behaviors of experts of Ministry of Sport and Youth. Multifactor leadership questionnaire، organizational justice scale and organizational citizenship scale were used to collect data. 220 out of 280 questionnaires (78. 5%) that were distributed among experts of Ministry of Sport and Youth were considered as the sample of the research. Multiple correlation coefficients، multivariate regression and structural equation modeling method were used to analyze data. The results showed that transformational leadership had 0. 36 effect coefficient on organizational citizenship behaviors. Also، considering 0. 55 effect coefficient of transformational leadership on organizational justice and 0. 44 effect coefficient of organizational justice on organizational citizenship behavior، the total effect coefficient of transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior was 0. 60. The presented model in this study confirmed the direct and indriect effects of transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior through organizational justice. Thus، using this approach، managers of Ministry of Sport and Youth can increase not only perceptions of organizational justice in their employees، but also organizational citizenship behaviors and ultimately their organizations'' performance.
