Author(s):
Abstract:
In recent years scholars have applied different theories to analyze I. R. I foreign policy and actions. Meanwhile، none of the conventional theories could explain and analyze all aspects of Iranian foreign policy. So that some of the scholars argue، Iranian foreign policy is a set of contingent decisions. This article tries to provide a foreign policy theory based on social identity and concept of «status seeking»، which provides a systematic picture of Iranian foreign policy. Author argues that I. R. I during the last 3decades has been a status-seeker state (which is the permanent factor in its FP) based on different strategies (Changing factor).
