An investigation into relationship between social trust and women's attendance at gymnasiums

The main goal of this research was to investigate relationship between social trust and women’s attendance at gymnasiums. Research method was survey. Population was women aged 15-30 in Jahrom، that 336 cases were selected through random multi-stage sampling method. The dependent variable was measured as qualitative variable in terms of going or not going to gymnasiums (during 1 year) and for measuring social trust as the independent variable، a researcher-made questionnaire was used that construct analysis through factor analysis was used for its validity and its reliability was calculated by cronbach alpha coefficient. Research results showed that، 47. 3% of women had gone to gymnasiums and 52. 7% had not gone to the gymnasiums. Logistic regression analysis also showed that there is a significant relationship between social trust and probability of attending at gymnasiums.
