Studying the Relationship between Social Capital and a Sense of Security among Bachelorship Degree Girls of Brigand Azad University

Social capital includes oragnizations, norms, trust, knowledge and lots of other issues which dominate over the relationships and interactions among human beings. Social Security oversees the provision of public health and the elimination of violence against mental concerns of citizens..This study tries to determine these to concepts and also the relationship between social capital and social security among B.A. girl students of Azab university in Birjand. The research method was questionnaire survey and the data collected based on Cochrane sampling so 265 individuals have been chosen. To measure the components of social capital, social trust, social cohesion, social participation, social awareness have been used and social security has been investigated by of 22 items measured on a Likert format. The results show a significant correlation between the two variables of social capital and social security among female students. The results of Pearson correlation were confirmed between two variables with a coefficient of r= 0/491 (meaningful relationship) at the 99% confidence level. This is a positive relationship indicating that increasing social capital can results in social security. The regression results confirms that the trust is most correlated with social security. And then social participation, social awareness and social cohesion are effective, respectively.
