The Role of Didactic Elements in Diction Metamorphosis of the Revolution Poetry

In addition to various social and political issues and subjects inside of it and accompanied with it, each revolution leads to a new literary experience. Although some believe that the post-revolutionary poetry of 1979 has moved towards a kind of metamorphosis (not an innovation), the traditional forms associated with the modern forms of Iranian poetry, could have a growing process from ideal, emotion, and an approach to structure regenerations of imagery, forms etc. respects. This research is aimed to analyze and scrutinize the effect of didactic elements, resulted from the revolution, on diction metamorphosis in the revolution poetry through a descriptive-analytic method; because, in addition to what mentioned above, the results indicate that one of the most important evolutions occurred in the Islamic Revolution poetry is the metamorphosis in the poets’ diction, doubtlessly. As most poets’ thoughts wander around a new pole of modern values and ethics, the culture and customs risen from such wishes are crystalized in different forms in diction application of the revolution poetry, and caused an evolution and variation to it.
