The Role of the Muqabalah Indicator (Circumstantial Evidence) in the Quranic Exegesis

There are several ways to understand the intentions of a speaker and the meaning of the terms which he states. One of these methods is attention to attached and detached indicators and, textual and non-textual Indicators. The same method is taken by the noble Quran in order to understand the terms and intentions of God. One of these indicators is muqabalah indicator which is attached and textual. The present paper aims to define this indicator and its literary origin and determines some examples while using this method in Islamic traditions. Then, it is followed by the applications of the muqabalah indicator and its role in the comprehension of terms and understanding the instance meaning and exploring the omitted parts of the discourse and understanding some ayat al-ahkam (the legal verses) and also excluding literary and exegetical points and presented instances for everyone.
