Purpose
This paper presents a tool for the evaluation of a number of conventional scientific journals in the field of Industrial Engineering to measure the effectiveness of their investments and the selection of an efficient set of journals (for subscription) with the aim of satisfying the criteria defined in regard to the limitations contained in the Department of Industrial Engineering.Method
The correct and timely decisions can have a great effect on people's personal and social lives, the strong need for techniques that can help people in this area is clearly visible; one of the most efficient techniques is "Analytic Hierarchy Process" (AHP), which because of the simple nature and comprehensive account has been attention. For this aim, we presenting a hybrid model of AHP and zero-one programming to determine a set of ISI journals for annual subscription.Results
in this research, 10 famous journals in the Industrial Engineering field are investigated. Then, the optimal combination for annual subscription is presented using the information of ISI periodic reports.Contribution: the results of the paper can be support digital library to determine a set of ISI journals for annual subscription.Keywords:
