Application of origami in the packaging industry

Origami or the art of paper folding is one of the traditions and hobbies that has been survived from ancient China. Nowadays because of environmental issues and increase of attempts to reduce energy consumption, various and novel designs and also environmental friendly techniques in the origami art moves toward being scientific and popular in the packaging industry. In this article, in addition to study of origami's history, it has been tried to mention new applications of this art in the packaging industries such as carton designing and tetra packs.
