Study of the Quranic Grounds for the Titles of Manāzel al-Sā erin Based on the Paradigmatic Word Associations

Tendency to spirituality and religious mystical views at the contemporary era and urgent need to review the mystical texts، makes researchers have a review at the mystical works of previous eras. On the one hand، attitudes with mystical interpretation or mystical approach to Holy Quran، simplify the language of this book for understanding of the today audiences. In the marketing of various mystical schools، those sources that are more consistent with concepts of the revealed book are more reliable، more persistent and closer to the truth. Among these، one of the worthiest remained texts in the field of mystical texts، is the Manāzel al-Sā’erin of Khwājah ‘Abdullāh Ansāri. The feature of this book is adapting the conduct stages with the concepts of Quran. At the beginning of each chapter in this book، Khwājah ‘Abdullāh has introduced stages for the thirsty of truth and conduct of Gnostics based on the holy verses of Quran. Thus، this study is after presenting a Quranic interpretation of the mystical text of Khwājah ‘Abdullāh and a mystical interpretation of Quran taken from the book Manāzel al-Sā’erin. In this regard، the authors of this study utilizing a method of semantic definitions، has reflected on descriptions and divisions of Khwājah ‘Abdullāh Ansāri in Manāzel al-Sā’erin and has explained the Quranic origin of the teachings of this book based on the paradigmatic word association of concepts.
