AffectingFactors on the Acceptance of RiceInsurancein Ilam Province

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to survey affecting factors on the acceptance of rice insurance in Ilam. The statistic population of this study was rice producers in Ilam Province. Based on Cochran formula، 170 respondents were selected through proportional stratified sampling method. Basic information for the study collected through the internet and library studies. The main instrument was questionnaire and data collected through interview. The collected data from questionnaires were analyzed through the SPSS software and descriptive and analytical methods. The results show that there was positive relationship between the educational level، rice Area، farmers trust to insurance companies، participate in training courses، attitude to insurance، annual total income and income of rice production with dependent variable. Also there is additionally a negative، significant relationship between age and experience of rice production with dependent variable. Also، the results of logistic regression showed a significant effect with the dependent variable is the number of variables
