A Meta- Analysis of Social Health Studies
Abstract:
By using meta-analysis a new research method, this study evaluates the results of social health studies. This research was conducted on 32 studies. The research instrument was a check list to select researches from technical and methodological aspects. The results showed that in the majority of studies, units of analysis were individual people. In all cases, the method of collection data was survey. Keyes's theoretical model of social well-being and his questionnaire has been guided most researches. In addition, in most of these studies, social health is the independent variable and among these factors, quality of life, quality of life index and education had a significant impact on social health.
