Meter in Children's Poetry: Prosodic, Syllabic, or Stressed-Syllabic?

There is not an agreement among experts concerning the meter of children’s poetry; some consider it prosodic and some no-prosodic. The present article, based on the ideas of poets and specialists, and taking into consideration the evidence from different languages, concludes that the meter of children’s poetry is sometimes prosodic and sometimes non-prosodic. But in the non-prosodic poems, in contrast to the beliefs of the most experts, the findings of this article show that the meter is not syllabic but stressed-syllabic
