The Relationship between Spiritual Intelligence and Religious Beliefs on Humiliation and Violence in Students

Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study the relationship of spiritual intelligence and religious beliefs with violence and feelings of inferiority among the students. The population of this study was all the students of Islamic Azad University of Isfahan (Khorasgan). 110 students were randomly selected as the sample. The research instruments included Religiosity Questionnaire (Atkins، 2007)، the Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire (King، 2008)، the Violence Questionnaire (Eysenck، 1988)، and Feelings of Inferiority Questionnaire (Eysenck، 1988). To analyze the data، regression analysis Spearman correlation coefficient and path analysis by SPSS16 software and Amos were used. The results showed that the relations of spiritual intelligence with feelings of inferiority and violence were significant (P<0. 01). But the relationship of religious beliefs with feelings of inferiority and violence were not significant. Finally، according to the findings of current research it can be suggested that spiritual intelligence is an effective variable on violence and feelings of inferiority.
