Abstract:
Automobile manufacturing is one of the most important industries in Iran which their workers are involved with the variant physical activities and accidents. Regard to importance of this industry in viewpoints of national economics and also workers’ safety and compatibility to situations, this study has been conducted to management of identify and assess risk factors process among operational workers of an automobile manufacturer company in Iran. This cross sectional study has been done in production line of an automobile producer in Iran using "Hazard/Caution Zone" method, along with Hierarchal Task Analysis (HTA) and time study after validity study of tools, in 2014. Data analysis illustrated that three factors (1) Using the same motion with little or no variation every few seconds - no other risk factors in %80 of jobs (2) High Hand Force- repetitive motion in %73.33 of jobs (3) Working with the neck bent more than 45° in %46.67 of jobs were in caution zone. Extra studies show each of two first factors is in hazard zone in %6.67 of jobs. Combined data show most of studied jobs have more than one factor at unacceptable level. Environmental and occupational risk factors are low regard to amount but considering %93.33 of studied jobs contains one risk factor at least so, it is likely to increase in problems. Therefore, they need to be monitored continuously. Also, corrective actions should be done as soon to control musculoskeletal disorders and accidents prevalence.
