Passive Defense Solutions in Intrusion Attacks to Computer Networks

This study aims at identifying strategies to counter the influence of attacks on computer networks was based on the principles of passive defense. For this purpose the explanation of computer networks, intrusion attacks and vulnerabilities leading to the area were collected and fit every attack, passive defense measures appropriate to the theoretical literature and the 31 -item questionnaire was constructed to extract. Methods this study was a descriptive - analytical and statistical population of all officials, experts and IT professionals, computer networks deputy police formed a total of 112 people. In order to select the sample size used to determine sample size Cochran, 87 people were selected. Due to the difference between the class ratios of the population, the sampling method was used in class. The present study was designed to seek answers to the question "strategies to penetrate computer networks attacks based on the principles of passive defense are the police?" The main theory of the case, explaining that "the observance of passive defense measures, the influence of attacks on computer networks reduce. " Finally two methods of descriptive statistics (frequency tables, charts and statistical characteristics) and inferential statistics (chi-square) was used to analyze the data.
