Message:
Abstract:
Kabah and Medina have been utilized by poets in the Arabic contemporary poetry in different concepts to explain the position of Holy Shrines as the key to unity and resistance. Religious and historical heritage are original research sources which contemporary Arab poets have used in their works, and the purpose in general is conveying the true meaning, accountability, and learning for oneself and the audience. Therefore, the poet in order to be the pioneer of social reform in his era not only clarifies the position of the Holy Shrines to commit his duty, but also uses the terms like: light, mercy, heart, or the literary styles as: repetition, submission, and postponing, to show his religious feeling and dependence regarding these Holy places. The present study in descriptive-analytic method of research examines the terminology about the Holy Shrines in the poems of Ahmad Showqi, Omar Abu Rishe, and Badavioljabal as the samples. The descriptions show the purpose of upholding the flag of religion under the guidance and unity of the Islamic community.
