Examining the efficacy training of professional ethics on moral intelligence and Prosocial Personality of Tehran Red Crescent aid workers

Moral intelligence consists of the ability to recognize the right thing among the wrongs, appropriate selection and finally, the behavior based on morality; and Prosocial Personality includes a person ' s emotions, thoughts and inclinations in moral and Prosocial behavior. The purpose of this reaserch is to examine the efficacy training of professional ethics on moral intelligence and Prosocial Personality of Tehran Red Crescent aid workers. The method of this study was experimental kind. 80 red cresent assistants were selected according to convenience. They were randomly divided into two groups of 40, as the experiment group and the contorol group.The extent of their moral intelligence and society approved personality was measured before the beginning of the project and after the execution of 10 sessions of professional morality training using Lennick & Kiel Intelligence Moral Questionnaire and Luise Panter Society Approved Questionnaire. Data analysis showed that professional morality training lead to the increase of moral intelligence and society approved personality in the experimental group, in comparison with the control group. The clerks with moral intelligence and high extent of society approved personality and appropriate moral beliefs and values will have this belief that their mental and occupational growth requires them to follow professional ethics.
