The Effect of the Combination Therapy, Family Therapy, Group Therapy and Methadone Therapy on Patients with Substance Abuse

The purpose of the present study was determine the effect of the combination therapy, family therapy, group therapy and Methadone therapy on patients with substance abuse. In this study, ten patients under methadone treatment in Quds hospital were randomly selected. Data collection in this study was clinical interview by psychiatrists, family therapy and group therapy by clinical psychologist. The results showed that combination therapy, family therapy, group therapy and Methadone therapy treatment has been effective in patients with substance abuse. Regarding results of present study can conclude that clinical intervention based on life skills training can increase couples’ marital satisfaction and stability of their marital life.So, above therapeutic methods in treatment of patients with substance abuse, in psychiatric centers is recommended.
