Identification and Ranking of Police's Social Responsibility in Providing Security (Case Study: Qazvin)

Social responsibility is set of duties and obligations that the organization should be to ensure, care and assistance to the community in which it operates. One of the most important responsibilities of law enforcement agencies, is the responsibility for providing security in society. Economic prosperity, investment, planning for development, progress and any activity that could be an important factor in improvement of economic, social conditions and other aspects of society, all in the shadow of the establishment of security can be obtainable and indeed, the security is one of the most important goals, essential resources and values in society. The research method is applied in goal, the applicable, and the method of data collection, descriptive. The study population consisted of two groups. First, Qazvin policecommanders who is using statistical formulas 149 people and simple random sampling, second sampled population was the ordinary people of Qazvin province using cluster sampling method, the number of 374 samples were selected. In analyzing the data, in two part of descriptive and inferential statistics, SPSS and SMARTPLS software were used. Based on the results of this study, the main hypothesis of the study, which refers to the impact of responsibility on security, is confirmed. Of the five other hypothesis, four hypothesis was confirmed and one hypothesis was rejected. On the basis, the four factors of social responsibility including social-religious, cultural, political and vocational- organizational have been impacted on security, and the role of citizenship security was rejected. Finally, the influence of responsibility aspects on security from most to least can be express in the following: social-religious, vocational- organizational, cultural and political.
