Comparative analysis of narcissism in Khaqani and Motanabbi works

Khaqani and Motenabbi are two famous Arabic and Persian poets. The present research attempts to answer the question “how these two poets expressed narcissism in their poetry” by presenting and bringing some examples of narcissism. What make these two poets to express narcissism are the inner gaps and psychological obsessions. Khaqani is proud of his knowledge, wisdom and poetry and knows his braveness as predominance. Both exaggerated in this way but the depiction and portrayal poetry is done by Khaqani.
