Nurses are those who encounter changing factors due to their critical job specification. Facing different factors، particularly human lives، involve higher calling. The aim of this study is to analyze structurally calling in nurses with career frustrating nature and self-efficiency components in one model.

This study is typically a modern descriptive/correlative one. The statistical coverage consists of the female nurses (180 nurses) in a hospital complex in Tehran province in January 2015 in which 120 people were selected by a random sampling basing on the Morgan’s table. The data gathering tools included the career frustrating questionnaire، self-efficiency questionnaire (SFS) and multidimensional calling scale questionnaire (MCM). These data has been analyzed by using SPSS and AMOS software.
Findings
The results indicate that there was a meaningful relationship between calling and career frustrating and self-efficiency components (p˂0. 5). The structural equations modelling outcomes illustrated that the calling has direct relationship with career frustrating، but its relationship with self-efficiency components is indirect.
Conclusion
Evidences from the confirmed model of the study representing that career frustrating and self-efficiency components considered as defining elements of calling by which it could be predicted if taking them into account.
