A Study of Organizational Citizenship Behaviors in Hotel Industry Case study: personnel of Ariya Hotels Group

Today psycologists focus on the issue that personnel of orgnization must act beyond their formal function. Considering abandant and face to face interaction with customer and nature of services, this concept is more important in services sector. One of skills which can help staffs is OrganizationalCitizenship Behavior (OCB).So,This study investigates the potential antecedents of organizational citizenship behaviors (OCBs) in hotel staffs. The discriptive research method was correlation and the population of this research was personnel of Ariya hotel groups, 500 people. The sample size was determined 112 people by formula of appointing sample size and clster sampling method. The required data is collected using standard Questionnaire:Poodsakef’sOrganizational Citizenship Behavior (2000); narative content of the Questionnaire was confirmed by theorists and for the final confirmation after carrying out an experement amongst 30 people of the hotel employees, Cronbach alpha for questionary of Organizational Citizenship Behavior 0.82. The results showed that all dimensions of OCB among employees of Aria Hotels Groupwas too moderate and reverence and chivalry respectively, had the greatest impact on organizational citizenship behavior. In addition, there was no significant difference between the views of the hotel staff about organizational citizenship behavior according to gender, work experience and education.
