A Mining for Extracting Impact of Facilities and Website Popularity of the Hotels on User Comments in Web
Abstract:
One of the most common issues for tourisms in trip is selection of the best hotel according to their criteria. E-tourism facilitates this process for the tourisms. From the facilities, user’s comments among the E-tourism applications play a significant role. This research attempts to reveal likely correlations between data by extraction of different variables in hotel facilities and conducting statistical and data mining approaches. For this, impact of hotel facilities and popularity of the hotel Website on the users’ comments are analyzed. The case studies of the research are a part of the hotels among the important tourist cities in Iran. The results of the research show that among the different variables for the popularity of the Website’s hotel, number of links in Alexa and ranking in Google and from hotel facilities, number and cost of the two bed rooms, were most important factor on the users’ comments. Also, by conduction a clustering approach, number of links in Alexa and ranking in Google were placed in the single cluster.
