The impact of environmental education on nanotechnology application (Case study: industrial managers)

Nano-technology has a lot of positive impacts in human life and industry is potentially one of these areas which gain a lot of benefit from nano development. Some environmental application of nano will be made possible through environmental education; of course this possibility depends on positive attitude in this regard. this research is going to investigate car industry manager’s attitude towards environmental education as a basis for nano application. This study is an applied research which uses a descriptive method based on survey approach. The statistical population is 63 car industry managers and data collecting tool is a self-administered questionnaire. Result showed that the managers had a positive attitude towards nano –application, but there was not any significant difference between managers attitude and the level of their education or their years of experiences, while there was a significant difference between their attitude and the kind of education field.
