Abstract:
Health care Wastes, which produce in most hospitals, laboratories and clinics, causes spread of dangerous and contagious diseases and are a serious threat to human health and the environment Due to contamination and the losses caused by the lack of health care waste management. Now days there are 4 common technologies for the disposal of hospital waste which is taken into consideration by the majority of the world's health units and each of them has a different performance from others. Therefore, assessment of hospital waste disposal methods requires different criteria to be carried out with the participation of experts. The aim of this study is to present a method for assessment of Health care waste disposal technologies in the city of Sari. In this regard, after reviewing the literature and interviews with experts, eight of the most important criteria were identified. Also, to assess technologies was presented a hybrid approach based on FDEMATEL and FVIKOR methods. Finally, after applying the proposed model, the results showed that level of automation is the most important criteria in decision making. In the next step waste disposal methods were ranked by using FVIKOR and the Steam sterilization suggested as the most efficient Health care waste Disposal method.
