A Methodological Overview of Justice Theory in Islamic Economy

The concept of economic justice is about how economic opportunities, privileges and benefits are distributed among individuals and communities of the society and scholars always have discussed about the concept. Among all, what has been the most attractive for justice researchers is the method by which the legitimacy and reasonableness of the economic justice principles and standards are proved. This article is about to study and assess the approaches toward solutions of major issues of economic justice in Islamic doctrines. Therefore by means of rational analysis, we are going to explore and to study the main approaches of economic-justice cognition, which is “text-oriented Foundationalism”, “Causation Foundationalism”, “intrinsic- Walayaii Foundationalism” and “Pragmatic coherent Foundationalism”. This research proves that the “Pragmatic coherent Foundationalism” method is the most practical and authentic approach for cognition of economic justice in Islamic doctrines.
