Logic of Value Judgments

The issue of value judgments and its different aspects is a challenging issue on which opinions have, as put by SabzawÁri, differed. No doubt, the most important aspect of the issue of value judgments is its epistemic aspect or the methodology of its rationalization. Hitherto various theories have appeared, but none has given a through explanation about the issue under discussion. It seems that the problem cannot be solved on the basis of the existing logical frameworks. In order to be able to solve the problem, we need to review those frameworks. Through classifying and making a critical study of the current theories on the subject at hand, an attempt has been made in this article to present a new solution based on a new form and structure of syllogism that produces certainty.
