The Relationship between Organizational Agility and Organizational Intelligence in Higher Education (Case Study: the Staff of Isfahan University)

Abstract:
Organizational intelligence and organizational agility are two important variables in the management of organization and the effective factors of competitive advantage and keeping pace the organizations with rapid changes in their environment, as the scholars of the organization have been focused on them in recent decades. The current study was a descriptive-correlational study. Study population of this research was selected among all the employees of Isfahan University (594 people), based on Morgan’s sampling table (234 people) by simple random sampling. In order to collect data, two questionnaires including Albrecht’s organizational intelligence questionnaire (2003) and Spitzer’s organizational agility questionnaire (2007) were used. In order to analyze the data, two analytical methods, including one sample t-test and Pearson correlation were used. The results indicate unfavorable organizational agility and intelligence at the University of Isfahan. Pearson's correlation test results indicate the significant positive relationship between organizational intelligence and organizational agility.
