Investigation the Role of Negative Emotion Regulation and Educational Enthusiasm in Predicting of Risky Behavior of Students

Given the importance of student's mental health and the necessity of prevention of social harms, performing further research in this area seems essential. Thus, the aim of this study was to investigate the role of negative emotion regulation and educational enthusiasm in predicting of risky behavior of students.
Statistical population sample consisted of all students in Tehran city who are enrolled in 2014-15 academic year. Sampling method in this study was available sampling. For data collections were used Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, Educational Enthusiasm Scale and Risky Behavior Inventory. Date analyzed using of Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis.
The results of this study showed that there is significant positive correlation between perfectionism and problem-solving styles. But there was significant relationship between negative emotion regular emotion regular and risky behaviors (p Strengthening the adaptive emotion regulation and providing educational enthusiasm can provide a suitable context for reducing risk behaviors among students.
