Identify the reasons for absence by exploring the mentality of staff with Q-methodology (Case study: power plant repairs Karaj)

The issue of job absenteeism critical factor for organizations, brings heavy financial losses. The absence, one of the all-consuming, challenging and time consuming problems facing organizations and economic point of view, one of the factors increasing the cost of production. This is especially government organizations are more common. Given the need to identify causes of absenteeism and employee desertion company power plant Iran, the present study with scientific and realistic analysis of the causes of absenteeism, try to find solutions and ways to overcome arise. After presenting the theory and valuable experiences some management scientists and sociologists, try using the methodology-Q factors important causes of absenteeism of employees are discussed using factor analysis based on the individual, the mentality of people towards Subject is detected. Statistical population research staff of the power plant Karaj is mid-range. In this regard, three of the specialists interviewed, 40 Q identified and prioritized by the participants. The 5 factors was identified, which are collectively illustrate the importance of performance-based pay, developing systematic indicators to evaluate performance, increase jobs by redefining the identity, awareness and transparency in the formulation and implementation of their organizational structure.
