An Introduction to the Structural Approach to the Concept of Good Deeds in the Quran and Hadiths

This article attempts to examine with a new approach the process of the formation of the good deeds by using a descriptive way and analyzing the content. So far, many studies have been done about the interconnections of the good deeds with other concepts such as faith, virtue, heart, and... . Gathering, evaluating and processing this interaction, this study is to find the system and the process of the happening the good deed on the basis of the Quran and the traditions; in other words, in this article, the process of happening of good deeds in transition of human mental structure is being sought. The results of this study indicate that the process of the occurring of the good deeds in the Quran and traditions has six stages: 1. appearance of the need (in the breast), 2. demand and pray (in the heart), 3. the advent of intention (in the heart and its influence in the breast), 4. knowledge (in thought), 5. intention of doing (in determination), 6. exterior of good deeds (in potent). On this basis, the good deed is the light of faith that has different manifestations under the divine authority through the structural components of the mentality to the extent that it is appear in an external form in the moving faculties of human being in the material world and ascends man to a higher stage.
