Comparing the Effect of Balance Training with and Without Suit Therapy on the Balance and the Gait Pattern of Patients with Parkinsin's Disease

Background and Objective
Parkinson's Disease is a progressive neurologic disorder affecting the central nervous system. The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of balance training with and without suit therapy on the balance and the gait pattern of patients with Parkinson's Disease.
Material &
Methods
participants with Parkinson's Disease were divided into three groups of control, with suit therapy, and without suit therapy. The control group received only pharmacotherapy, while the groups with and without suit therapy received eigh weeks balance training in addition to pharmacotherapy. The patient's balance and gait were evaluted by Berg and Tinetti scales, respectively at the pretest and posttest of this study.

The result of the study showed significant difference in balance between the three groups (P
Conclusion
To do balance traning is better than not to do it, and balance training with suit therapy is better than without suit therapy.
