The need assessment of greenhouse owners For greenhouse cultivation of cucumber in the Varamin township Based on Bourich model

Human resources development, agriculture based on knowledge, skills and attitudes is that Producers to find the production process. This human development based on the correct training needs to happen Producers. The goal of this study was to assessing the training needs of Varamin township’s greenhouse owners. This research was an applied research and was conducted by The Descriptive-correlation analysis. The population of the Varamin township cucumbers were cultivated greenhouse owners (N =504) in accordance sample of 115 samples were determined by Cochran formula and for Accuracy to increase of this number rose to 120 in the end 116 valid questionnaires were collected and analyzed.The tool of the research is a questionnaire which has been completed through interview. Efficiency of the questionnaire was confirmed by the opinions of the major and consultant professors and its sustainability was reaffirmed through Cronbach alpha coefficient in the scale of 77%-83% by using SPSS 16 software. The results revealed Awareness of flooding greenhouse, Identifying resistant varieties suited to the climatic conditions of the region, Proper recognition of the acidity or alkalinity of the soil for planting, Awareness of planting trees as barriers around the house to reduce fuel consumption, Knowledge of the concentration of carbon dioxide in greenhouse and Information on the amount and frequency of irrigation water Were the most important The need for the greenhouse owners Regression results also showed 2 variable greenhouse owners’ level of Education and age are explain 49 % of variance of educational needs.
