Interdisciplinary Courses Curriculum Assessment Criteria

Message:
Abstract:
University-level interdisciplinary courses call for their own criteria to achieve perfection. The purpose of the present study is to determine and prioritize assessment criteria of interdisciplinary curriculum. The present study is of a practical nature and has been conducted descriptively as to be explained. Firstly, sixty-four assessment criteria of interdisciplinary curriculum were identified. In the form of questionnaires, they were then distributed among involved experts for feedback. The collected data was then analyzed by the SPSS and the calculation of the Cronbach’s coefficient, after which fourteen criteria that lacked internal consistency were removed. The remaining fifty criteria were then divided into the five categories of trainee, trainer, process, content, and objectives. Using Chi-squared test at 5% error, the data distribution (Nikouyi, Barazesh) was assessed and thirty-seven criteria were approved (trainer 7, process 4, trainee 12, content 6, and objectives 8 criteria). The Friedman test was then used to rate the abovementioned criteria.
