Investigate the potential geopolitical Mokran coasts and its role in sustainable security in the Iran's South East region

Iran has long coastal lanes in the region of South East particularly in the Chabahar and Konarak as the opening position. Other reasons for the geographic importance of the region¡ is also including its communication role in connection north-south¡ geopolitical capacities and Iran''s only ocean port¡ so it is one of the key points along the Mokran coasts in the Sea of Oman. The question is whether the potential geopolitical of Mokran coasts can provide sustainable security for Islamic Republic of Iran? The aim of this study was to explore the potential geopolitical of the region of southeastern coasts and also the causes of the region backwardness¡ despite its capacities¡ ultimately¡ will be provided the ways for go out from this impasse and achieve to the sustainable development. In this study¡ has been used from SWOT analysis. The results indicate that using the Mokran coasts main geopolitical potential bring to development of sustainable security in the region and ultimately in the country.
