The effect of Panoura and Philippou meta cognition training on Self-concept, Self-regulation and motivation for mathematical function in

The aim of the present study was to examine the effectiveness of Panoura and Philpuo's meta-cognition skills training on math performance, self-concept, self-regulation and motivation of students with math learning disability.
In this study, 30 fourth grade students from Isfahan city selected with multistage cluster random sampling in both experimental and control group. The instruments were included Panoura and Philipuo meta-cognition questionnaire, training Tabrizi dyscalculia diagnostic checklist, Raven's Progressive Matrices and math achievement test. To experimental group was thught12 sessions of 60 minutes meta-cognition techniques, self-concept, self-regulation and motivation, then again after one month were tested from both groups.
Results of multivariate analysis of covariate (MANCOVA) showed a significant difference between the experimental group and control group in mathematic performance, self-concept, self-regulation and motivation (P Meta-cognitive skills as learning basic math interventions may be an effect therapeutic approach to mathematics learning disabilities.
