Determination of chemical composition and gas production parameters of some rangeland plants species of Kurdistan province

The current study was carried out to determine chemical composition and some fermentation parameters of five rangeland plants species in Saral rangelands of Kurdistan province including Ferula haussknechtii, Astragalus curvirostris Boiss, Astragalus angustiflorus, Poa bulbosa var vivipara and Hypericum scabrum at three phonology stages(before flowering, flowering and seed yielding) using gas test technique. Gas production was recorded at 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 24, 36, 48, 72 and 96 h of incubation. The experiment was conducted in completely randomized design.
