Investigate the relationship between happiness and certain areas of hope in the elderly and the use of Bojnord urban spaces

Abstract:
This study aimed to determine the relationship between happiness, specific scales of hope & the utilization of urban spaces among the elderly. A total of 100 elderly divided into two groups of 50 "frequent" and "non" use of parks and public spaces in Bojnord city in a two-stage cluster sampling were selected. Participants research, completed Oxford Happiness questionnaire and Simpson Certain aspects of Hope. The research methodology is descriptive by correlational analysis and in order to analyze the data descriptive statistical and discriminative analysis with enter method was used. Results show that variables of happiness and hope are able to distinguish groups of "frequent use" and "non-use of urban spaces and diagnostic function successfully for 93% of the category done properly. According to the Wilk's Lambda testing, the maximum difference between two groups, is relating to hope in family relationships, hope in friends relationships and hope in the field of leisure and minimum difference is related to happiness. The use of city spaces in the elderly is associated with a greater degree of hope and happiness.
