The Prioritization of Islamic Measures of Success from the Viewpoints of the Students of Amin Police University
Perfectionism is the law of nature and all creatures have an instinctive desire to perfection. The desire for success and perfectionism in human beings who are superior and virtuous in the universe is stronger. This study identifies the indicators of success from an Islamic perspective and prioritizes them in terms of the viewpoints of the students of Amin Police University
In terms of its objectives the present study is of an applied research type and in terms of methodology it is considered as a survey study. The statistical population of the study consisted of the faculty members, commanders and students of Amin Police University. The sample size was determined as 400 individuals using Cochran formula and. The required data were collected through a valid and reliable questionnaire (α = .76) and they were analyzed using one-sample t-test and Friedman test. Findings and
The research findings showed that although all indicators and dimensions of success from the viewpoints of students have averages higher than three, success tendency is the first priority and the dimensions of insight and action are the next priorities. Among the indicators of success in this dimension, the indicators of faith in God and resurrection, Godliness and religiosity and conscientiousness are critical. The indicators of discipline, self-scrutiny and knowledge are also ranked last.
