Study of social and cultural factors affecting the attitudes of young people in Ahvaz on Iranian national identity, emphasizing the use of satellite networks and Internet sites

Abstract:
This study aimed to investigate the social and cultural factors affecting the attitudes of young people in Ahwaz national identity on the use of networks of foreign satellite and Internet sites, the objective of a study on the use, the scope extensive, range of micro and the timing is a cross-sectional study. The research method used survey method of scrolling techniques, and tools for data collection questionnaire. The sample size in this study, 383 people. This study is based on different theories of Marx, Giddens, Castells, Habermas and Marshya to examine the relationship between variables such as television networks, external, external sites Internet, a sense of deprivation, religious, social participation, economic status - social, marital status, age and sex as independent variables and the dependent variable is the national identity. The results indicate that the use of foreign television networks (satellite), the use of external Internet sites, feelings of deprivation, religious, social participation, gender and marital status, and national identity there. But between the variables socio - economic and age no significant relationship with national identity.
