Effects of group discussion-based Education on coping Skills among female students in high schools

Introduction
Teenage years have along with many charges in biological, psychological and social choosing effective coping styles in adolescence could make safety from crisis. The purpose of the study is assessing of group discussion-based education on coping skills among female students in high schools.Method
The study is a semi-empirical with pretest-posttest design. Statistical population of the study was the second and third students of high schools in Kashmar. According to random sampling, 100 students were selected and allocated randomly in two groups, intervention and central. The questionnaire of CISS was filled before and 1 month after program in two groups. Intervention program was a 60 minutes, 8 sessions that conducted by group discussion. Finally, data analyzed with T-test and chi-square in SPSS version 21. Results
Finding showed that average score of coping styles in intervention and control group were 127/65 and 129/4 before, and 155/07 and 127/5 after intervention. Results showed significant difference between pre-test and post-test score in intervention group (PConclusion
Coping skills training by group-discussion can promote knowledge of adolescents coping problem-based style of coping.Therefore its recommended coping skills training added to educational program of teenagers.
