Examining the role of information technology on knowledge management Process (case study of Emam Khomeini Nowshahr university of naval Sciences)

This research aim to examine Examining the role of information technology on knowledge management Process in Nowshahr University of naval Sciences. This research regarding its goal is practical and regarding gathering it's data is descriptive. Statistical population include teachers, Commanders and Experts of Nowshahr university of naval Sciences is 100 people, volume of sample is determined on the basis of Krejcie and Morgan and is 80 people. Sampling was done randomly. Tools of gathering Theoretical field, The study of textbooks and library books and journal articles in the field of knowledge management and Tools of gathering Variables related to the field of information is 1 Researcher made questionary, with 15 questions and 9 range option. Its validity was confirmed by a number of scholars and experts and its reliability using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, 966/0 were obtained. Data was analyzed through t .test analyze. Findings show that there is a Favorable situation of Information Technology at the University in terms of scientific goals, and knowledge of the development and maintenance dimensions is moderate and areas of Identification of knowledge, knowledge sharing and evaluation is undesirable.
