The Effect of Psychodrama on Self-Esteem and Forgiveness of Female Adolescents with Divorced Parents

The present study investigates the effect of psychodrama on increase in the forgiveness of others and selfesteem of female adolescents with divorced parents. This study is a pre-test, post-test and follow-up design for both experimental and control groups. From community of female adolescents with divorced parents under the support of Imam Khomeini Committee. (aged from14 to 17) and were divided into experimental and control group. Forgiveness Questionnaire and Pope Self-esteem Questionnaire were used in the pre-test stage for both groups. The participants in the experimental group received 10 two-hour sessions of psychodrama and the control group was kept with no intervention. After one month, for follw up two questionnaires were applied for both groups. Repeated measure analysis of variance. Were used the results indicated that the significant effect of psychodrama on forgiveness and selfesteem and, family, social, physical self-esteem but it had no impact on the educational self-esteem of the female adolescents.
