Abstract:
Bahrain's government has faced over the past six years, with people openly protest. The peaceful protest, often with the goal of self-determination for the people of Bahrain is done. Sheikh Isa Qassim, one of the religious protest leaders arrested by the government and was deprived of his Bahraini nationality in 2016. The present analytical – descriptive article shows that nationality is an internationalized issue and arbitrarily deprivation of nationality is prohibited under international law. Because in the case of Sheikh Isa Qassim, terrorism charges against him is not proved and no due of process exists in Bahraini laws for prevention of arbitrarily deprivation of nationality, it seems that Bahrain’s government breached its internationally human rights obligations.
