Investigating the Relationship between the rate of Social Trust and Political Participation among students of Mazandaran University

One of the most important and essential categories for maintaining the political order and stability of each state and its kind is the participation of people in various political arenas. Robert Putnam considers social capital with an emphasis on the concept of trust and trust, which leads to the establishment of an effective communication and participation of members Become a community.From Putnam's point of view, trust will facilitate people's co-operation, and trust in society will increase.The purpose of this study was to determine the impact on the political participation of the students of Mazandaran University in the academic year of 1395. This research is a cross-sectional descriptive-analytic study. This study is a survey and in this study we focus on trust and political participation in three macro levels (Francis Fukuyama), Medium (Anthony Giddens) and Wisdom (James Coleman). The statistical population of the study consisted of 12000 students of Mazandaran University. Based on the Cochran formula, 380 individuals were selected as sample based on simple random sampling. Studies show that there is a direct relationship between the trust of government agencies, the trust of masters and administrative affairs of the university and the people who are familiar with the degree of student political participation.
