The Mediating Role of Teacher's Organizational Citizenship Behavior In Relationship Between Manager's Spiritual leadership And Student's Academic Motivation

This study aims to determine the mediating role of teachers’ organizational citizenship behavior in relationship between managers’ spiritual leadership and students’ educational motivation. This is a correlation research and the study is practical in purpose. The statistical community includes all teachers (300 samples) and high school girl students in Tonekabon city (423 samples). The samples were chosen by cluster sampling. Therefore, one class was chosen in every school and the teacher and students of that class were examined. The questionnaires of spiritual leadership by Fry (2005) , organizational citizenship behavior by Pod Sakoff (2000) and educational achievement motivation by Walrand (1992) were used to gather data. Structural equations by LISREL software were applied to analyze the data. The results indicated that teachers’ organizational citizenship behavior in relationship between managers’ spiritual leadership and students’ educational motivation plays a positive and significant role.
