Investigating the Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Negotiating Skills of Marine Managers (Case Study: Chabahar Marine Institutions)

Abstract:
Emotional intelligence plays a decisive role in establishing useful relationships between managers and the human resources of an organization. According to this, the effect of emotional intelligence plays an important role in the success of an organization. In the context of this discussion, the manager of an organization can play an effective role in advancing the main goals of the organization by optimally negotiating with the employees or managers of other organizations. The main objective of this research is to investigate the effect of emotional intelligence on the amount of negotiating skills of managers with other people and to deal with them. To this end, the distribution and collection of information provided by the questionnaire among managers and officials of the general offices of ports and Shipping, Fisheries and Customs of Chabahar. In this research, α-Alpha coefficient of 92% was determined among 212 managers and officials of those organizations. This study concluded that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and the negotiating skills of the continuous and constructive communication managers and after analyzing the statistical data, all of the hypotheses presented are confirmed.
