An analysis of the position & level of social responsibility in Tourism industry (Yazd cultural heritage organization)

Abstract:
The importance of corporate social responsibility increasing and has a very great role in tourism industry. One of the reason is the increasing development of tourism industry in different countries and also the importance of this industry in global economy. So allocation of resources is not consider as cost in this field but investment is competitive advantage. The purpose of this article is considering the level and importance of cosial responsibility of tourism organization and yazd cultural heritage as governmental institutions in tourism sector. Collecting data is based on questionnaire. In this research, 300 questionnaire has been distributed among tourism activists and experts. Questionnaire content validity by method of PLS, convergent and divergent validity by calculating Cronbach’s Alpha, the stability of questionnaire has been confirmed. Present paper is descriptive and has a survey method. Data has been analized by using structural equation modeling approach based. On partial least squares method using PLS and SPSS software. The results showes that the use of the concept of social responsibility in the tourism industry can accelerate the growth of this industry. However, social responsibility within the organization introduced and discussed as a strategy is not yet known.
