Abstract:
Seasonal rivers have high capacity of Sediment transport Sediment to the downstream areas. The sedimentation of high quality suspended particles on the alluvial zones caused that the fertility of lands increased. . So that importance of sedimentation in flood spreading projects and temporal refilling is much more than the water itself. The purpose of this study is to examine Temporal refilling effects on physical and chemical properties of Sediments in Hamoon Wetland of Hirmand. In this regard, physical and chemical properties of Sediments were measured in 40 points as refilling non-refilling areas Moreover, in order to determine of physical and chemical properties of the soil, samples were taken from the surface and depth of 0 to 20 using ordered grid method, and then the samples was Examined in laboratory for determination of physical and chemical properties. Then, the physical properties such as clay, Sylt and sand percentage, and chemical properties such as organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, cationic exchange capacity, calcium and magnesium, absorbable sodium, sodium absorption ratio, lime, absorbable potassium, acidity, and electrical conductivity were determined. The results of the data analysis by T-tests and Mann Whitney U tests in Mini tab Software indicated that there was a significant increase in organic matter total phosphorus, calcium and magnesium %1 (p
